Supernote Baseball Scoresheet
This is a simple baseball scoresheet template designed for the Supernote Nomad native .note document. I like to score the games in the pub whilst having a few pints and so I just record the basic details, I don’t note error counts and things like that, just balls/strikes and the basic details of each at-bat and including the pitch count and pitcher changes.
To fit into the smaller dimensions of the Nomad the template is setup for 3 innings per page, per team which leaves enough room for what I like to record. This results in the majority of games having 6 pages, 3 for each team, unless there are extra innings or certain batting-around scenarios. The great thing about using something like the Nomad is it’s very easy to add more pages for more innings if required.
When setting up a .note document I start with 2 pages, one for the visitors and one for the home team. I use the default Main Layer to record the player names, team names, date, time and venue etc. I then have a second ‘Scoring’ layer to record the actual at-bats. Therefore once I’ve recorded 3 innings for a team and need a new page for the next 3 innings for that team I can quickly copy and paste the current page and then use the layer ‘Erase All’ command on the new pasted page to clear everything on the ‘Scoring’ layer, but keeping all the player names etc on the Main Layer. And of course it makes sense to have a ‘blank’ prepared scoresheet, setup as above, which can simply be copied when you need a new scoresheet.
The template is supplied as a PDF link below which has 9 pages: scoresheet with room for left and bottom toolbars, left and top toolbars, left toolbar only. Likewise for right and bottom, right and top, right only, top only, bottom only and no toolbars (fullscreen). When applying the template simply choose whichever page suits your setup!
I’ve also created a PDF to show how I use the template and I guess it’ll be a wee bit idiosyncratic, the way I score games has morphed over the years, and certainly changed since using the Nomad for the last year or so! Hopefully it doesn’t confuse you too much! The example shows the first and third pages from the Phillies scorecard of the game against Atlanta 19th April 2026 at Citizens Bank Park. If there are errors in the actual recorded scoring then that’s down to me being in the pub!
